Schaefer said VW plans to release another 10 electric models in the next three years.

China is “playing a leading role in the industry’s electric and digital transformation,” said Ford Motor Co CEO Jim Farley in a recorded message played on a video screen.

And Apple CEO Tim Cook was just in Beijing. Xi would much rather deal with Schaefer, Farley and Cook than with Biden, Blinken or a Pelosi. The former get down to business. The latter is all talk and talk and talk.

...and guess why Ford EV division can't stand on its own.

So many of these CEOs have forgotten what the view from the windscreen looks like, because they are hooked on the rearvuew mirror.

Chinese consumers are only going to buy stuff, IF American consumers buy Chinese goods, and those days are gone, forever.

That’s funny.

Never seen such PANIC in Japan regarding Auto Industry. Locked out of EV supply-chains, Toyota only produced 25k pure EVs last year, all together EV production by Japanese makers approx. 0.5%

EV markets Globally exploding, likely again over 50% growth this year...hydrogen fuel anyone?!

Even worse for ICE vehicles, consumers don't want to invest in dying expensive legacy, even leasing's stretch, especially as EV prices steadily drop and performance improves etc.

Management matters!!!

Only EV cars can be sold in China after July.

Is it any wonder a car manufacturer would show EV’s at the China car show? Duh.
