Wonder if the liberals will ever give up being so obsessed with biological features as a means to judge people, with or measure by. The rest of the world sees only individual humans judging by merit or content of character

These "equality' issues focusing on SUPER high paid, CEO level jobs really clouds the real issue. I mean for MEN to try to get one of THESE jobs talked about in the article is a NEEDLE in the haystack, tracking down & catching a UNICORN!!

I reality these jobs are so few that they statistically are close to IMPOSSIBLE for anybody, for ANY gender!

Wonder why we never hear about the ladies making headway into things like ditch digging, various trades, garbagewomen(men seem to be hogging that area of expertise BIGTIME).

Are is all this more about selective, high paid, airconditioned, nice clothes wearing "equality"

Hey I am ALL for women doing WHATEVER their heart desires! In the west there is NOTHING in the way, go for it I say. Then over time there will be more & more women in various lines of work, just don't forget the outdoor  & lower paying, get dirty kind of work as well though!

Don't they already run the economic world? They may not always had the titular title, but they certainly have the influence. In most societies, women control the finances, budgets, have veto power over money decisions and pay the bills. Women have always been the "power behind the throne." Behind every politician, CEO, director, manager, salaryman, etc., there's a woman who influences and subtly pulls the strings. It's just they don't always get the direct credit or acknowledgement.

When Adam Smith thought of the concept "Invisible Hand", he must have been subconsciously thinking of women's influence and their subtle control over men.

Great! I look forward to having a woman take me out to dinner and pay for once in my life.

Don't most Japanese (and maybe Western) salarymen hand over their paychecks to their wives? So sure, she'll take you out to dinner and pay.....with the money that you handed over to her.

Great! Looking forward to having women running things......and being directly accountable and responsible for their decisions and actions. Isn't it about time?

Right you are! Whenever I read one of these articles, I always think, "What about the women I see driving trucks and taxis? What about the women I see standing out in the cold and rain directing people around construction sites? What about the women flipping burgers and working checkout lines in supermarkets?"

Ultra elite women who think only about people in the top 1% income and status range.
