Can this be true? Is he not aware of all the hidden barriers Japan erects to protect its markets.

They say this after 20 years and more of sluggish growth and deflation?

This area is going to be the huge stumbling block for Japan and the TPP as well.

an american lawmaker was being interviewed on TV and he said Japan should first join the TPP then start renegading some of its commitment afterwards not approach TPP and say this is off limits...that's how the US works.
