This whole tax cartel idea is stupid. We don’t need politicians if this is the main thing they have on their minds.

Businesses are groups of people that employ more people and produce stuff that others find useful.

The minimum tax on such activity ought be kept at zero.

Asked in an interview with CNBC if Washington would be able to levy taxes on Amazon under the deal, Yellen replied, "It depends on whether or not they will reach the threshold of profitability, and I am not certain of that."

That they are questioning whether Amazon is a profitable company or not is not a good sign that this will be a good law.

Accountants in Hollywood have mastered the art of frequently never having their movies turn a profit on paper, and it seems other big businesses have learned their tricks.

Agree this is a ridiculous idea. And was always unworkable. The type of nonsense our leaders indulge in while real,issues go unresolved
