"The suspect is not a KyoAni artist. He did not work for the company at all."

Jenni I think what Lamilly said by except for one, it was in reference of the arsonist. KyoAni spread joy to everybody except for him.

I hope those who injured to get well soon.

This was not an attack on us all. It was a mass murder, committed by a man, twisted by hatred, and willing to punish wholly innocent people. It is a vile act committed by a small man that will rob the world of some much needed joy and beauty.

"It's like a domestic terrorist attack," said Aaron Law, a tourist from New Zealand, also in Akihabara.

No it's not.

All indications are that this attack was carried out because the guy thought that his work had been plagiarized. A horrible attack, but not terrorism.

Terrorism is an act of violence in pursuance of some radical political or ideological agenda -- by groups such as Islamic extremists, or Antifa in the U.S.
