16-year-old boy found dead in Tochigi apartment

A 16-year-old boy was found dead in his home in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, on Monday. According to police, Yusuke Suda had been beaten about the head and face by a blunt object.

The boy's mother returned home from work at around 5 p.m. and found her son collapsed on the floor near the kitchen, TBS reported. She called 119 and Suda was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short while later.

Police are questioning a 13-year-old girl who was also in the apartment when the victim's mother returned home.

Suda and his mother lived alone, police said, adding that he did not go to school on Monday.

Looks more like a murder than bullying.

again why are parents not involved with their children's activities. Here in Japan the kids are minors so the parents still are responsible for their children and any problems caused by the kids until the age of 20.
