Police on Sunday arrested two men in their early 20s on charges of manslaughter and breaking and entering in Fukushiyama city, Kyoto.
According to police, the two men allegedly entered a man’s house through the bathroom window. The tenant discovered the intruders and pursued them out of the house and into the street. The two men then allegedly struck their pursuer as they attempted to flee in an automobile.
Police said the victim clung to the fleeing car's hood for nearly 170 meters before he was flung off. the suspects were able to fling him off. The man was dead on arrival at hospital.
According to police, the suspects claim they entered the man’s apartment mistakenly. “We thought it was our friend’s house. When this guy we didn’t know started chasing us, we panicked,” one of the men was quoted as saying.© News reports
