Police in Nagoya said Monday that two unemployed men have been indicted for setting off firecrackers in a Starbucks store in Naka Ward at around 10:30 p.m. on April 4.
The two, aged 29 and 21, were charged with forcible obstruction of business in the Starbucks Coffee Sakae Tokyu Inn store. There were 14 staff and customers in the store at the time but nobody was injured, police said.
Fuji TV reported that the pair posted a video of themselves letting off the fireworks on a video-sharing site, which went viral. This led police to arrest them.
The two suspects were quoted by police as saying they were the two men in the video and that they just wanted to become famous, Fuji reported.© Japan Today
