2 naked bodies found in Tokyo love hotel

The naked bodies of a man and a woman were found in a love hotel room in Hachioji, Tokyo, on Sunday, in what police believe was a murder-suicide.

According to police, the bodies of the man who was in his 50s and the woman who was in her 30s, were found at around 7:30 p.m., Fuji TV reported. Their names have not been released. Both had stab wounds and a blood-stained knife was found in the room.

Police said the couple checked into the hotel on Saturday. When they hadn’t checked out on Sunday, a hotel employee used a master key to enter the room and found the bodies lying on the bed.

The hotel is located about 400 meters from JR Hachioji Station.

-You would forgive me for thinking Romeo and Juliet

What, because they were found lying next to each other? No I wouldn’t. Two suicides in that sad tale. Not one a#%hole killing another. Call out domestic violence when you see it.

You would forgive me for thinking Romeo and Juliet.

No, I would not. This creepy scene does not look like Romeo and Juliet at all.

Two naked bodies in a blood splattered Tokyo love hotel... I can see a remake here.

Double murder by a third-party seems more likely than a double suicide by stabbing.

Another option is an attack by one of the deceased and the other disarms the attacker, uses the weapon to defend, and both receives mortal wounds in the process.

A final option is the keystone j-cops being lazy on the job again. And, we will probably not find out because autopsies are rarely done here!

You have to admire the authorities’ efforts at enlisting even the language itself in their unstinting efforts to ensure statistical corroboration for ‘safety country’.

Just like ‘withdrawal advance’ was used to describe the Imperial Army’s retreat at Guadalcanal, “double forced suicide” could be the new template for the treatment of a whole range of other offences.

CCTV footage would have alerted them to a third person, which makes double-murder the least likely scenario.

Your 2nd scenario is way more complex than the most likely scenario of simple murder-suicide, which is what the police suspect. ("forced double-suicide" being their weird euphemism for it.)

Possible double suicide..

Well, if you're going to link to another article, you should probably be accurate as to the text they used: *Police are treating the case as a forced double suicide*.

Note the forced part of that sentence. I believe this is what the rest of the world refers to as a murder-suicide.
