Two shots were fired at a house in Toyama City on Monday night. The bullets went through a window and were found on the livingroom floor, police said.
A couple and their daughter live in the two-story house. The mother was in the livingroom at the time of the shooting, which occurred at around 10:50 p.m., Fuji TV reported, adding she was not hurt.
A witness told police that right after the shooting, a man on a motorbike sped away from the house which is about four kilometers from JR Toyama Station.
As a precaution, the Toyama Education Board decided to close all 91 elementary and junior high schools in the city on Tuesday.© Japan Today
