20-year-old woman arrested for stabbing husband in Sapporo

Police in Sapporo, Hokkaido, have arrested a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of assaulting her husband, who is in his 30s, by stabbing him with a kitchen knife.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 8 p.m. Tuesday at the couple's apartment in Chuo Ward, broadcaster NTV reported. Police said the woman, who is a vocational school student, called 119 after stabbing her spouse.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a hospital following the attack.

Police quoted the woman as saying, “I got into a fight with my husband and I swung the knife at him but didn’t mean to hurt him. I just lost my temper.”

Yep, can happen when a knife is involved. Have to control yourself just a little better next time, young lady. Forgo the knife and go for a walk for 30 minutes or so. Very therapeutic.

Yeah, swinging a knife at someone usually won't result in an injury. This guy better run. When she means to hurt you, it might be final.
