29-year-old man arrested over possession, distribution of child porn

Police on Monday have arrested a 29-year-old man in Edogawa for violation of child pornography and prostitution laws. The suspect, who was identified as Akitaka Munenaga, is accused of attempting to share child porn material using the peer-to-peer file sharing application aMule from his home on April 12.

According to police, Munenaga's computer contained around 270 child porn videos.

Police said this is the first time they have arrested an aMule user for breach of child pornography laws. During questioning, Munenaga was quoted by police as saying, "I knew people had been arrested before but I thought I'd probably be okay."

The title of this article is wrong. He was arrested for attempting to share his child porn, not for having it. I believe possession of child porn in Japan is still legal. The title should be changed.

The situation isn't nearly as clear-cut as that. In some prefectures possession is illegal, and all over Japan sharing is illegal. Of course this is all supremely ironic in a country where the official national age of consent is 13 and this is modified upwards by prefecturals laws to anywhere between 16 and 18.

Beer99.

Pls, clarify what manga he read. The Kids style or the OL style or what you think he read?

Manga/anime covers a huuge variety, your comment is like saying he read a magazine.

Castration, followed by whipping, followed by life in solitary.
