3 men rob Tochigi hotel of Y1.5 mil

Police said Monday that three men entered a Tochigi City hotel before dawn on Sunday, used duct tape to bind and gag the lone employee on duty, and stole approximately 1.5 million yen.

The robbery took place at the Hotel Sun Route Tochigi. TV Asahi reported that the three men threatened the front desk clerk with a knife and demanded money from the hotel's cash register. The men then fled after binding the clerk.

After the men fled, the employee used his nose to dial an internal line on the hotel's phone system and alert another employee who was in the break room, TV Asahi quoted police as saying. The clerk told police that two of the men were wearing black knit caps.

Wasn't?

The whole human population of the Earth can be divided into people who are wearing black knit caps, and people who aren't.

Of course, you also have to contend with the awkward souls who wear dark grey or dark blue knit caps.

A robbery of convenience. Does the hotel have a small casino?

I been to hotels in Japan where you actually put the cash in a vending machine and the clerk never touch the money... (it wasn't a Love Hotel...haha). If the money is in the machine, no one can rob that place.
