Police are investigating 34 cases of vandalism involving toilets being damaged in Atsugi city public park toilets in Kanagawa Prefecture.

According to police, in each case, there was a gaping hole drilled into the base, causing the toilets to fracture along the sides and eventually break completely. TBS reported Tuesday that there have been numerous reports in the past year of vandalized toilets in Atsugi parks. According to city and police officials, of the 100 public parks in Atsugi, 34 of the lavatories have been damaged in the same way.

Police said that all the damaged toilets were in parks within a three-kilometer radius along the Odakyu line from Hon-Atsugi Station.

The current estimated cost of the total damages to the city is around two million yen, TBS reported.

Gee, they'll have to be replaced. Sounds like it could be a way to improve the economy.

Tokiyo - The average person is on canera up to 40 times a day. Hope these dunny vandals are caught and made to clean public dunnies for a long time.

Look for an older man who has a beef with Atsugi city for some reason.

Stupid idiots doing that. They should be thankful that there are free toilets in public. In many European countries you have to pay to pee so whoever is doing it...piss on you!!

Have you heard about WorldToilet Day? Toilets are a big issue in impoverished countries. This guy needs his head shoved down one.
