Police in Tsurugashima City, Saitama Prefecture, have arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of fatally stabbing his younger brother at their home on Thursday.
According to police, at around 2:50 p.m., Takumi Kitada called 119 and said: "I stabbed my younger brother. He's not conscious or breathing,” Kyodo News reported.
When police rushed to the scene, they found a man in his early 30s collapsed on the first floor of the house with multiple stab wounds, mainly to his back. A blood-stained kitchen knife was found near his body. He was confirmed dead at the scene.
According to police, the house was home to five people, including Kitada, his younger brother and parents.
Police said they are questioning Kitada and other members of the family about the source of the trouble between the two brothers.

No CPR or anything? Just let him die there and called the cops? Wow. The headline should read, ..."for fatally stabbing brother.
Moderator: Thanks for pointing that out. It has been corrected.

This was the norm for centuries where families stayed together until marriage and the oldest son would remain at home with wife and children to take care of the entire family.

Maybe if both were AT work and didn't live AT home, together with their parents, none of this would have happened?
