"According to police, security camera footage showed...." so why "suspected of" throwing plates and glass bottles" ???? more Meeja-mythology in action....
TokyoLiving
Just deport them..
nakanoguy01
Straight up out of a Tarantino movie! Love it!

Sounds like a very scary gang. They throw plates and glass bottles. Hopefully they are locked up for a long time.
Yubaru
They are Japanese, so where are you going to deport them to?
shogun36
Rollin in, 20 deep and throwing a hissy fit with tableware.
What else did they expect to happen?
A couple rounds of spin the bottle and maybe a jig or two?
Larry Lacky
Yubaru, LOL no doubt! Where?
Sven Asai
The point is that they see their daily living and further future only in being an active crime syndicate member. So obviously also something else in society went very wrong for three generations’ time.
Vicky
Shameful behavior. I used to think they had at least drawn a line not to cause such a brawl in public.

The fact that the infraction "obstruction of business" is so often used, or that it even exists in the first place, shows where the government's priorities lie. It's not a crime against regular citizens, such as assault, trespass, disturbing the peace, public menacing, etc. Nope. It's a crime against business!

yakuza celebrations for members that are freed from jail always attract rival gangs that were just waiting for payback. this happens in real-life, and makes for very entertaining movies

I think these things should be concluded by arm wrestling.

"Chinese Dragon is comprised primarily of second- and third-generation descendants of Japanese orphans left behind in China"
They cant be of Japanese heritage, they would have cleaned up after the fight.
tenguleavings
This will be a showpiece level for Yakuza 8
Desert Tortoise
The are Japanese descendants of Japanese orphans who were left in China upon Japan's defeat. They are Japanese and not Chinese.
Alan Harrison
If they are Japanese, they will just pay for the damage with added consolation money, and then get suspended sentences.

yes, what you say is true(ish).... but the article doesn't say anything about 'suspected of instigating a brawl'.... just crappy reportage/sloppy writing, as usual....
