The Otsu District Court in Shiga Prefecture has sentenced a 50-year-old man to six years in prison for sexually abusing the 11-year-old daughter of his girlfriend.
According to the court ruling, Kentaro Minamino conspired with his girlfriend to sexually assault her daughter at their apartment in Osaka City’s Hirano Ward in June 2020, Kyodo News reported. In an earlier trial, the girl’s mother was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison and is currently appealing the ruling.
The court heard that the girl’s sexual abuse was filmed on a mobile phone. Moreover, the girl was abused again in March 2022 and that was also filmed.
In handing down her ruling, Judge Mariko Oshima pointed out that Minamino demanded the female defendant and her daughter engage in obscene acts as a threesome or else he would break off their relationship. The judge also called Minamino heinous for forcing the girl to drink a beverage containing “harmful drugs” and continuing to perform obscene acts on her despite her objections.

The mother, probably depended on the boyfriend financially and was easily pressured into all those heinous acts. She definitely should lose custody of the kid and do her time in jail. The boyfriend needs to be beaten with baseball bat and put away for at least 15 years.

Very infuriating, ugly and GROSS. There was a woman in my home state who raped a baby girl she babysat for, videoed the action and sent the coverage to her BF's email account. He turned it in to the cops (he's innocent, folks) and now the molester is in prison for 17 years and is registered as a sex offender for life.
17 years is a mighty long time. A lot can and will happen during 17 years, inside a prison and the outside world beyond it.

His days would be numbered day one, his only cellmate would be the person to take him out because thats the rulle. If the other prisoners can't do it you have to do it. If not according to prison rules you agree with what he did therefore you too must be taken out!! Once asleep or taking a shower if in general population he is done!!!

Japan often hands out only very light sentences for crimes among the proletariat. Rest assured though that if a crime affects the profits of a large company, or somebody famous or wealthy, they will chase you to the ends of the earth and then throw the book at you. Just as an example, the Japanese authorities have just put some guy on an international wanted list with Interpol and cancelled his passport for the huge crime of erm, harassing some celebrities online...

It might be lucky for these two that Japanese prisons are not the leisure centres that the are in the west - every aspect of prisoners lives here is so controlled, monitored and micromanaged that it would be hard for any other prisoners to take out some rough justice on them even if they wanted to.

She probably will 'hide' it in her life but there will come a day when a mental PTSD 'landmine' explodes in her mind. When it does she will need help, fast. Events like this tend to lay dormant but still affect somebody psychologically w/o him/her even knowing it.
