Police are investigating the murder of a 55-year-old man who was found dead in his home in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture.

According to police, the body of Yukiyasu Takei, who lived alone, was found by a friend who came to visit him at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. TBS reported that Takei was found lying in a pool of blood in a room on the first floor of his home. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the front door was locked and that Takei's friend, worried that something might be wrong, entered the house through an unlocked window and discovered the body.

So who's actually saying this was "murder"?

Could have been manslaughter, could have been an accident. Nobody can say without a trial.

Why does the friend think it's wired the door locked?

Why do you think the friend thought that? It didn't say that in the article.
