59-year-old man arrested for killing 82-year-old mother

Police in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, said Sunday they have arrested a 59-year-old man for stabbing to death his 82-year-old mother at their home.

According to police, they received a call just after noon on Saturday from a man reporting that he had stabbed his mother, TBS reported. Police rushed to the scene and found the body of Masako Ikeda lying near the front door, bleeding from her neck. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police quoted the son as saying that he had been bickering a lot with his mother recently. The two lived together, police said.

I have bickered with my mother but how can a man be so angry that he stabs her?

I bickered with my mother when I as a teenager, then I grew up, and look to my mother/father as a role model!

Let me guess: she asked him to get off his butt and actually help out around the house?

And check out the related article to the right-> "57-year-old man arrested for killing 92-year-old father"!

I have a bad feeling this is going to become commonplace, what with the rapidly aging population and all.

"I bickered with my mother when I as a teenager, then I grew up, and look to my mother/father as a role model!" Yeah, and I also moved out and started a life on my own before I was 20.
