Police in Mitaka, Tokyo, said they have found 600 items of stolen women's underwear in the apartment of an unemployed 39-year-old man who was arrested while trying to steal lingerie from the balcony of a woman's residence last month.
According to police, the suspect, Nobuo Amakawa , a resident of Chofu City, has admitted to the theft and said he had stolen about 600 items of women's underwear on at least 100 occasions over the past three years, Fuji TV reported.
Police quoted Amakawa as saying he first stole women's underwear that was being hung outside to dry on an apartment balcony in Mitaka back in July 2014.
Amakawa stated he couldn't suppress his desire to steal women's underwear, police said, adding he was nabbed after stealing underwear from another woman's balcony in Mitaka in March.
Since the summer of July 2014, approximately 600 similar incidents of theft have been reported in both Mitaka and Chofu.

Why would ANYBODY be infatuated with underwear? I have never looked at a pair of underwear hanging out side and said to myself, "I sure would like to have those." I love Jennifer Lopez. I think she is hot. But I wouldn't want her undies. Someone please explain to me why people want ladies underwear. . .

MsDelicious - I dated a very beautiful woman who liked to wear boxer briefs. Nothing wrong with that. they were her own. She bought them. She didn't take them from someone else. It was not a fetish. That is different that this guy.
