Her husband died just a couple of weeks ago? Wow. Hard times for that family.

Just a very sad news to end the day with. Who could've done such a thing? This is why, although it may not be favorable for most, I advocate families to live under a single roof or at least next door. If that's not possible then befriend your neighbors. Safety in numbers. living alone made her an easy target

it's likely she irritated the perpetrator and that person was obviously unstable and lashed out at the poor woman.

I'm sure the son is a suspect right now too though.

This is terrible something like this occurred. Hopefully justice will succeed and the individual who did this is going to be brought to justice.

It is a shock that something like this could ever occur in Japan especially in a rural area, small city and/or small town such as Aomori City, Aomori, Japan. It is understood that everywhere in Japan from Naha City, Okinawa, Japan all the way to Wakkanai City, Hokkaido, Japan (along with all of Taiwan and and all ofMainland China) has extremely low levels of violent crime and one can walk around even late at night regardless of size, shape and gender.

I reckon the trauma force probably caved her skull in.

Great work JT! Name that victim! I'm sure the family is really happy to find her name plastered all over the media during their time of grievance...
