Police in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, have arrested a 67-year-old man on suspicion of killing his 71-year-old sister.
According to police, the suspect, Toru Onodera, is suspected of stomping on his sister Hiroko's chest and stomach at their residence on March 5, Fuji TV reported.
The incident came to light when Onodera called 119 on Monday to report that his sister was not moving and that there was something wrong with her. Hiroko was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead of internal injuries.
Police said Onodera has admitted to the charge and was quoted as saying that he and his sister did not get along with each other.

Funny how that works. You step on your sister's chest and stomach and you wonder why she isn't moving??

Even so, it was quite unlikely that there was bad blood between both of them when they were little children. Let alone stomp her. Very deeply sad event. RIP.

"Stomping to death." I'll have to write that one down.

I'd say that was pretty obvious. I'm interested to know what percentage of murders in Japan are committed by siblings, parents or children. These kinds of family murders seem to make up the majority of murders in Japan. Just in the last month there was a couple of kids killing their parent and a couple of parents killing their kids and now, a sibling murder. It seems that, Japan is a pretty safe country until you go home.

Well that would make Japan the MOST UNSAFE and MOST DANGEROUS country in the world...
It's a wonder how any of them survive childhood!!

The senseless killings, Again! These people are friggin' warped. And some say the senseless killings only happen in America . . . . where there are guns.

Yeah. It is. I regularly saw violence against children and heard it in my apartment building. It's ubiquitous.
