The Tokyo Metropolitan Police said Sunday they have arrested a 6th suspect in Japan's biggest-ever cash robbery that took place at a security company office in Tokyo's Tachikawa area on May 12. Tsutomu Sakuma, 37, a former gang member, was charged with aiding and abetting the robbery, which netted the thieves 604 million yen.

According to a report on NTV, police allege that Sakuma drove the getaway car after the robbery. He was recorded by highway surveillance cameras in a car with another suspect, Yutaka Watanabe, who was one of five gang members arrested in June and July over the robbery.

A police spokesman said Sunday that a search of Sakuma's apartment turned up 60 million yen, which was part of the haul.

that took place at a security company office

This security company have a name? We not mentioning it because as a security company, an at least party successfull robbery would tarnish their rep? Well, I have seen security company vehicles and the shmos in riot gear in them, and I never really thought they would be able to hold off a small group of senior citizens anyway. Seems to me they are all image. That said, it makes even more sense that no names are mentioned. Just curious how they manage to get the press to show such restraint. Sure don't that when people are suspected of crimes eh? Tsutomu Sakura's rep just went right down the toilet and he has not even had a trial yet.

Someone is having a good time with 440 million yen. If the gave the money to the diaster victims I would not prosecute.

But since these greedy bums will sound it on alchol, women and a new jet ski or car. I can't forgive them.
