76-year-old man arrested for beating wife to death


Police in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, on Monday arrested a 76-year-old man on suspicion of beating his 73-year-old wife to death at their home.

According to police, the man, identified as Naoki Murayama, beat his wife Hiroko about the head and face at 7 a.m., TV Asahi reported. Murayama then called his nephew and said he had hit his wife and that she wasn't moving. His nephew came around and found Hiroko unconscious. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Murayama was quoted by police as saying that he got fed up with his wife grumbling all the time.

Well if he was such a pig that he beat her to death, she probably had a lot to grumble about. That behavior doesn't come from nowhere. Rest in peace Mrs Murayama.
