Police in Yokohama have arrested a 78-year-old man on suspicion of killing a 67-year-old man on the grounds of the housing complex where they both live.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 11 a.m. on Saturday at the housing complex in Asahi Ward, Sankei Shimbun reported. Police said Norio Yoshida is accused of beating Masaru Saito about the head and face several times after Saito complained about the noise Yoshida was making with a lawn mower.
Another resident called 119 and Saito was taken to hospital where he died about 90 minutes after arrival.
