An 80-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of stalking a 76-year-old woman at her workplace in Sakura, Tochigi Prefecture.
According to police, Hiromasa Obata violated a restraining order after he went into a restaurant where the woman was working on Jan 14, Fuji TV reported. The woman had previously filed a complaint about Obata stalking her, resulting in the restraining order being issued.
Police said Obata has denied the charge and quoted him as saying, “I didn’t go into the restaurant. I was just passing by.”

Yeah, then you went inside. What part of 'go away' don't you understand, Hiromasa Obata?

Wasn't there a similar fantasy crime of similar age a week ago?
Wrinkle attraction is still believable then.

Unlike the last geezer to make stalker news, this oldie apparently prefers younger women. Don't these latest incidents speak volumes for the unflagging drive of our primate species to connect with Plato's "Other Half"?

"incidents speak volumes for the unflagging drive"
yep, reconfigured, but still shell shocked forever.

He said ... she said.

He said he was just passing by, she said that he was stalking her and had previously filed a complaint about his stalking.
I guess "she said" is the accurate one.

Hilarious "Obata denied the charge saying, “I didn’t go into the restaurant. I was just passing by.” but i have a pocket full of Trojan horses and Vitamin V waiting for the moment she comes out of the restaurant!
