Police say that an 87-year-old female resident of a nursing home in Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture, who was found dead on Monday, died from traumatic shock.
According to police, a staff member at the Fujinoen nursing home found Takeko Arai collapsed in front of the toilet on the first floor at around 5 a.m. on Monday, NHK reported. She was bleeding from a head injury. She was taken to hospital where she died that day.
Police said an autopsy on Tuesday revealed she had been struck by a blunt instrument.
At the time, there were over 20 residents and one staff member on duty at the facility, and the windows and doors were locked, with no signs of anyone entering from outside.
Arai had been a resident at the nursing home for about two years.

This headline appears to be click bait. There is no evidence she was “beaten”.
she could have fallen, and hit her head, causing an internal bleed. Was the nurse arrested since there was only one nurse?
at night, darkened room, older, frail, possibly poor eye sight, dementia? None of this is mentioned.
so did she collapse? Beaten? Or fell and hit her head?
terrible article.or terrible information. I’m not sure.

Recent LDP regime who dislikes social welfare neglects to improve treatment for care workers, causes chronic worker shortage.
On the other hand, far-right influenceres repeat scapegoating elderly people who had supported country or society directly or indirectly during decades as if enemy of working generation to distract public eyes from misrules of LDP.
They so deteriorate Japanese society that make to lose even respect to someone's important parent or grandparents.
