I just don't know what to say. SMH

The street cameras hopefully have the responsible person coming and going. The Mansion I stayed in had cameras at the entry making it easy to see who came and left the building.

All the evidence point to a crime of passion rather than a random crime.

Yamamoto had been punched in the face

I don't doubt that he was, I just want to know how they determined that he was.

Is MURDER too harsh a word for Japanese sensibilities?

that leaves a 99% probability family member.

Why no jilted girlfriend scenario?

99% probability that it was an inside job. Mere robber would not do that. It was a psycho, which is obvious, the question is whether it was a family member with a personal grudge or a random psycho. Random psycho like that would have already been found out and neutralized, that leaves a 99% probability family member.

Hope they interview family members.

How do they know that if there were no witnesses?

That's terrible. If someone wanted to rob him, why not just do so? Why did they have to take the life of a defenseless old man? I hope they catch and put away the animal who did this to him.
