FSA steps up scrutiny of banks to fight dirty money

Japanese bankers probably think themselves as being immune from money-laundering, well besides their "special customers" anyway.

Probably a lot of shifty money transfers abound including politicians. The recent Moritomo Gakuen scandal reeks of suspect political money "transfers."
