Hironaka's going to make the prosecutors do their jobs and present evidence. Good luck to the defense!

Here’s hoping Ghsn’s team can prove the allegations are false and that he has been railroaded into a kangaroo court system of being guilty until you can prove yourself innocent.

Awesome!! The best defense is a good offense!!

He also helped free a senior bureaucrat Atsuko Muraki on corruption charges fabricated by prosecutors.

Hmm … sounds all too familiar.

Fingers crossed he's out soon and the old boy system have to eat a giant humble pie. FREE GHOSN!!!

Good! I hope he burns the entire Japanese legal system to the ground! This is only an issue cause Japan Inc.’s Pride got wounded when one of their pride and joy companies almost went belly up and he pulled them from the abyss

That’s odd, Optimist87 says it will be a great victory for Ghosn.

@ tony w

No disrespect but going by your comment you don't live here and know how the system works.

Good! I hope he burns the entire Japanese legal system to the ground!

If your guilty...attack or admit it. Depends on your ego and stashed money.

What about if you believe you are innocent?

Pessimist* talk about living up to your name!

This could still be the case that forces the Japanese judiciary into the modern world.

"This should have been dealt with as an internal matter," Junichiro Hironaka

Stating the obvious, but bold in terms of voicing the meat and veg of the case. Things get so muddled here so quickly that often the core issues get completely forgotten or lost.

The fact that he got of Ozawa and other bureaucrats doesn't mean anything. The japanese legal system has always been very forgiving towards these criminals. The judges here are always on the procecuter's side, and it's up to the defense to find any holes in the law, even then often ending up at the end of a short stick, because the judge let's his own personal opinion rule over the evidence or lack of it.

My fifty cents: the new lawyer will be as useless as his predecessor.

Ghosn is innocent until proven otherwise, but it don't look like this............

Unfortunately the prosecutors and Nissan CEO has dig themselves so deep into the mud it will be difficult for the judges and the legal system in Japan not to convict him guilty. It's a shame for the league system in Japan. I just hope this case will be the beginning of changes into the legal system as the world now see and learn how rotten, unfair and undemocratic this system is!

Carlos case will help many foreigners working with Japanese companies. The Japanese think, we foreigners are just piece of log that they can take advantage & bully us. Carlos case is a very good example. He brought Nissan back from bankruptcy and help Nissan when Nissan was desperate and he even trained a saikawa that back -stabbed him. This kind is action cannot be left one sided. A case like Carlos cannot be commited here even if 10 Carlos was involved. This case need Japanese insiders and advisers, who are still at Nissan brazen and showing that they are the victims. But if any Japanese had run a business in Japan , we know that the system do not allow foreigners to do like Carlos in the Japanese system. Go for it, fight as hard as U can Carlos. Gambatte. I would like to meet U & yr family in this difficult times if I can be of any help. I have worked with Japanese share-holders for 32 years. I am the only foreigner partner. Yr case is close to impossible some thing is very wrong with yr Nissan people. Yr advisers are not good and yr working people like saikawa is a big snake.

Internal matter ? Brilliant strategy. If it works, Ghosn probably ends up to pay back some money to Nissan, and say bye bye to the jail.

In the eyes of laws, there is no justice, only judges.

TO THE RAZOR

°

Someone did pass the financial orders. If it is not Ghosn who is it ?

The razor problem is not on the accusation bill. From France lack of diplomatic responses, you can guess this is international justice matter. They took out the arabic problem to show my country the level on international court. But, Arabic may not be the guilty party.

Here, according to my level of information, the defense will have to consider two main outside thesis :

- karma deal : if he is innocent, what he suffer, a japaneese did suffered by his hand (there is a religious problem behind too) or a hand he protects. He will have to pick the right truth to tell. He is paying his part without breaching the victim's anti-barbaric ethic.

- high technology thieves : we have high level software computer creators in France, Japan, and USA who died just after a big technology creation and just before becoming famous. One creator survived. Its shows an heavy gore softkilling method. He was called "the innocent sisyphe pushing a bitten apple". The survivor was supposed to be stolen by Jobs several years previous and survived by miracle. The thesis is Ghosn got the Wiz through the same "devil" services. The french creator survived again but with USA as a witness this time.

Note

A business man wanted to tell the truth at the time, but never did come out. Nonetheless, the Wiz came out. The "bad people" was an expert to fast erase memory. You just keep the memory of the worse and only strange headache of your life. So the business man may have forgotten the "truth to tell" and be himself a victim. Nonetheless, strict zazen unerase the erased memory through meditation on inner pain and isolation.

So japan is really in a perfect symbolic place for world religious justice right now. Everyone (up to the univers gods) need to know if Ghosn is guilty or innocent. And, it is very serious matter for religious people.

all of Carlos money is now useless where he is. The only way he can spend it on is on lawyers.

Lawyers love criminals, it makes them rich

The charges here are too serious and varied to be likely to be false. Particularly suspicious is the involvement of a Saudi businessman. Malaysia has been rocked recently by billion dollar scandals involving senior politicians including a prime minister, and, in some cases, Saudi businessmen and royalty. Let's see what the trial brings up before presuming the Japanese are corrupt.

Ghosn, he will suffer a great defeat.
