Well done China, make them pay..

Vandalism isn’t political speech
That doesn’t give anyone the right to vandalize it, especially foreign citizens

Ha! Ha! Give me a break!! And they don't suppress political speech in your middle kingdom.
The crime was how Dong did it!!
MkoreaMwafrika
Dong spray painted "toilet" on a stone pillar only to flee to a real toilet, where he's now facing extortion charges. Poor boy.
I hope they won't harvest your kidney, buddy.

China reporting to Japan. 笑

Most likely for a couple of beers!

Didn't you read the KYODO at the bottom?
Fighto!
Huh? They have arrested this man on a charge unrelated to the incident at Yasukuni. The CCP certainly are not "co-operating" with Japan.
Makoto Shimizu
Congratulations for the Chinese police for arresting a criminal and reporting to Japan, it is a way of cooperation between countries.

There are legitimate questions as to the political motives of the Tokyo authorities and their attempts to suppress political speech.
A "place of worship" is a spurious description for a location that glorifies convicted war criminals, massacres and other crimes against women and children.
Says more about them than him surely.

You guys obviously don’t read. He’s being detained for a separate extortion case, in China, unrelated to the Yasukuni incident. Nothing to do with Yasukuni. Don’t know why JT words their articles the way they do. Very misleading.
Fighto!
He will certainly not face any punishment from the CCP for the graffiti in Japan.

Dong will be celebrated as a hero in China.

Is he being arrested or just being called by Chinese authority to received his medal?
