Fukushima prefectural police have arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of violating the Animal Protection Law after he uploaded videos of himself throwing cats into a canal in Sukugawa city on two separate occasions.

According to police, Ryo Jinbo, a temp worker, recorded footage of two separate incidents in December and January and uploaded them on YouTube, Sankei Shimbun reported. In the videos, he can be seen grabbing the cats by their tails and tossing them into a canal.

At the end of December, police were notified by several people who saw the YouTube videos of Jimbo abusing the cats. Following a police investigation, the videos have been removed.

Jinbo was quoted by police as saying he was stressed out at the time.

He should have bought a cat then.

The pathetic excuses people make - why? Do they actually think they are acceptable, and that people will sympathise? I attacked, I assaulted, I killed, because I was stressed. Only sadists think of inflicting pain.

A normal person feels less stress by petting a cat.

If he needed to hurt them, he's not stressed, he's a future serial killer.

A very incompetent one...

The man needs a lot of psychological help if he thinks harming is a stress release.. Sure would like to know what kind of stress results in this

Maybe some of those cats still have some of their nine lives left, and ... you know, revenge can be sweet.

Meow!

Uploading the evidence onto Youtube, what a prize idiot ! hahahaha! it was only a matter of time before he had his collar felt by the cops, oh dear this has made me smile this morning, ( not in ref to hurting the cats ) but to his stupidity.

Stressed out? How does throwing cats into a canal relieve stress? Perhaps he's just another delusional nut case.

Those who upload videos of themselves committing crimes deserve what comes to them.

Anyone who mistreats an animal for fun isn't much of a person.

He obviously wanted the attention of police. Cats in Canal or Jump on Shinkansen tracks....same in his mind......

Jinbo should have thrown himself into the canal-water is a great way to unwind.....

Nothing will happen to him. He'll pay a fine. That's it.

He's blaming stress. Stress does not make people violent, or turn them into psycopaths. People that are cruel to animals often escalate their violence to humans. He should be on a watch list.

Doesn't violent killers, psychopaths and such start with animals? This guy may or may not be one, but it still scares me knowing that he'll be fined and out in no time.
