There are a lot of anti-Japanese people who claim to be Japanese. Anyway, it is so regreetable that we have this kind of thing in 2024.

And there are a lot of Japanese who claim to be Japanese, too. Point is moot until we know more. And, sorry, this is the MO of Japanese, albeit the reason seems a bit different this time. How often do you hear about threats of this or that here? Pretty often if you pay attention. BUT, how often has that resulted in a bomb or crime actualizing, almost never. If it were truly South Korean in nature and in anger, we'd see something in all probability.

It's more likely to be a Chinese or Islamist threat than a Korean threat.

Good game!

And, Shohei went 2 for 5, with a stolen base and an RBI. Wish I could have been there!

I've always wondered when a player or players will be shot during a game. Security is tight but some maniac might get in somehow. I mean in the US. It could happen anywhere but the US has all those guns and all those loonies with guns. A bombing wouldn't be out of the question either. I hope not, but I think about it from time to time, and it could happen any place in the world and in any sport.

You go through metal detectors at most stadiums and as for the plastic guns I doubt they work too well and you would stand out pretty well as you got ready to shoot.

I am surprised that this game did not make more noise in the news. Pretty exciting, IMO.
