Two people were stabbed at random as they were walking home in Saitama and Kanagawa prefectures on Wednesday.
In the first incident, a 61-year-old woman was stabbed in the thigh by a man in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture, Kyodo News reported.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 6:40 p.m. as the woman was pushing her bicycle along a sidewalk. A witness called 110 and reported that a man had attacked a woman with a knife. The woman was taken to hospital where she was treated for a light injury to her left thigh.
The woman told police that someone bumped into her and that she felt a pain in her thigh.
Police said the woman told them the assailant was about175 cms tall and was wearing a black top, black pants and a face mask.
In the second incident, which occurred at around 8:10 p.m. in Yokohama, a 28-year-old man was stabbed in the thigh as he was walking home. He told police he did not know the attacker who was dressed in black and about 175 cms tall.© Japan Today

Apprehend these criminals and make an example out of them. Give them the harshest and longest prison terms as to deter others from doing the same criminal acts! Recently, due to the pathetic judicial system of Japan, crime levels has been rising steadily and immediate action is needed to return Japan to the wonderful, peaceful and low crime rate country!
Check the station video. There are about 90 minutes between these two crimes. JR can get a person from Kawaguchi to Nishi-Yokohama (Hodogaya-ku) in about 70 minutes.
1st incident, Kawaguchi, 18:40, “assailant was about 175 cms tall and was wearing a black top, black pants and a face mask”
2nd incident, Yokohama (Hodogaya-ku), 20:10, “the attacker who was dressed in black and about 175 cms tall”
That just like most criminal depiction in Japan.
First, I hope the suspects get apprehended and that the victims make a quick recovery.
They are starting early this year. These random stabbings don’t usually happen until summer. (Roll eyes)

I don’t know about Japan, but certainly in many other countries. We live in an upside down world these days where the elites, tech and the majority of media are all working in cahoots
Unfortunately, that could describe many men in Japan. But, I do think that both stabbings being in the thigh is somewhat interesting. And, when combined with those physical descriptions, could indeed mean it's the same attacker.
Some disgruntled idiot/s out there trying to bloody the streets because life ain't going his way.
