We must all work to stop domestic violins

Cripes, justice sure moves slowly here, look at the dates that the crime occurred?

Kawamiya allegedly entered her then husband's workshop inside his home in Nagoya by breaking in through a window sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 19 in 2014

The question from me is why are some people so obsessed with age?

Still, it's a shame the Norwegian Wood was destroyed.

"What do, or did you see, in a man 30 years older than you?" - well, it happens quite often, and not only because of money. A man can be very healthy and good looking in his 64.

Yeah in what maybe 2-3percent of instances, the rest being VERY MUCH about the $$$ LOL!!

Or should we just say he is well established, be honest most of these couples its money(even if they divorce, kind of like winning the lottery for the ladies LOL!!) for the lady, chance to re-live youth for the old guy

lol Best one of the lot. I also thought she was quite vile-in doing that.

This reminds me of my parents' friends who divorced many years back. He moved out and all he had left was his expensive grand piano to pick up. She called him to pick it up. When he pulled up to the house, the piano was on the front lawn and her standing behind it with an axe. You know the rest....

Two articles about women seeking revenge on men.

Guys, watch your backs.

The divorce case was being strung out and she was tihinking she would get played like an old fiddle? That may have been instrumental.

Let's not all kid ourselves, even when couples are the same age it's all about the $$$ in the end! Lose your job and no money in the bank and see how quickly it falls apart!

What did she gain by damaging these violins. Besides venting I mean.

Midori Kawamiya, a 34-year-old music instrument seller in Tokyo, has admitted to breaking into his home in Nagoya but denied that she damaged the equipment, according to police.

She is 34, he's 64....just a curious question for Ms. Kawamiya..."What do, or did you see, in a man 30 years older than you?" "What did you expect from the marriage?"

If you get the chance, while you are cooling off under state control, please feel free to respond.

wow what a garbage person, destroying musical instruments is like burning books.. cant they give her death sentence or sue her to extreme poverty till the rest of her miserable life?

People like that ... cant create and envy of others that do.

54 violins is quiet a bit of mney., guess they were more than the run of the mill ones.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

yea its absolutely disgusting that people like that cant be given the capital punishment because they destroy invaluable and loved wonders that finer people painstakingly crafted. The current punisment system is broken

Life is much more important than an object, no matter how fine the craft.

Killing is not wonderous, it is not a work of art. It is the worst vandalism possible.

She was frustrated with the staccato pace of the relationship, and ended it in a crescendo of destruction. The strings of her heart broken, she took revenge on the man who fiddled her emotions.

What a lunatic!!!!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

What a nutcase, she could have technically collected some of the money from these in the divorce!

Maybe he lost his norweigian wood due to age and that was the last string...

Moral of the story, be aware of hypergamy!!

One violin was allegedly worth 50 million so that means the others were worth an average 1 million each, nothing remarkable about that if accurate.

I don't detect a lot of love for the merchandise. Pete Townshend and Jimi Hendrix only did it as part of the act.

This seems more like a set up. They reported she wrote on the walls and taunted investigators. Who does that?!

Asking what does a woman see in a man 30 yrs older is no different than seeing a very cute woman with an butt-faced ugly guy. Either money or when the lights go out he compensates for his ugliness in the bedroom. LoL

I would love to hear her side of the story.

Never inferred nor said otherwise. Seems that the two were already separated when this happened, the story here is incomplete.

The couple, who separated last year, were in the middle of a divorce when the incident allegedly took place.

Their divorce was finalized last year, and were separated at the time of the incident. The article is giving misinformation here.

There is more in the link above.

He must have really fiddled up bad for her to strike such a chord. Or maybe she has a few strings loose and is a few prices short of an orchestra.
