Standby for imminent inaction.

Complaint made in May? Prosecutors leap into action in November? That's a lot of time for evidence tampering. Why were those involed not imprisoned, questioned repeatedly?

Abe was a rock.

At a time when other Japanese PM would quit every 6 months to a year. Called the Revolving door of Prime Ministers.

If a dinner party in 2018 or a cherry blossom event is the best you have against this man, I can't take you seriously.

Let's be for real here, time and substance do not go hand in hand when talking about Abe's time in office.

Just because he was there the longest, hardly means he was "a good PM".

The secretary was tight-lipped when asked by Kyodo News, saying, "I do not know anything and I cannot say anything, or I will be forced to commit suicide like all the others."

Everyone knows he's a crook. In a decent democracy this guy would be behind bars

If someone with even half the charm and political acumen of Junichiro Koizumi, Tony Blair or Barack Obama had been up for the job a useless hereditary parasite like Abe would never have got a look in.

If a dinner party in 2018 or a cherry blossom event is the best you have against this man, I can't take you seriously.

So you don't think that wrongdoing or illegal activities shouldn't be criticised and punished?

Best? It's the least, dear boy.

The Kims have remained in power in North Korea for a long long time too. Just saying.

That ain't the half of it. There were lots of other scandals, including that little fascist kindergarten debacle.

Nothing will happen in the end.

Let’s not jump the gun.

Due process, and presumption of innocence. We would demand it for Ghosn so we ought demand no less for Japanese folks too.

No wonder he stepped down quickly as PM..but you can't run forever eh?

Ok.

When his underlings stop hiding things we'll give him the benefit of a doubt. Plus he's not going to jail. But scandal after scandal after scandal.. Makes him look pretty guilty.

yeah.... didn’t he also quit after one year the first time round?

What's the Japanese for Omertà ? No matter, we can all hear the teeth sucking. And once again get-out-of -jail free cards all round.

Abe is just one step away from, asking his subordinates to kill themselves. Legally that's an option. Cup of tea, pat the dog it's all good. Bowls playing up? That's guilt mate.

Sincerely dealing...

But will not have to confess

Abe. Another personal health crisis looms. But, to no avail. Wolves are at the door. None-the-less, actually prosecuting a former head-of-state will not be tolerated by the powerful. Sets a bad precedent and encourages the peasantry.
