Police in Tokyo have arrested a 26-year-old action movie stuntman for allegedly cutting a female high school student’s skirt in Tokyo’s Kita Ward.
According to police, the incident occurred on Oct 22 while the two were going up an escalator at Shimo Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, Fuji TV reported.
The suspect, Nobuyuki Misaki, is accused of snipping 18 centimeters of the girl’s skirt vertically and roughly 22 centimeters horizontally while he was riding the escalator behind her.
According to police, Misaki has admitted to the charge, claiming he was stressed out, and quoted him as saying, “It didn’t matter what I cut. I just wanted to cut [something belonging to the victim].”
Since August, there have been multiple reports of girls having their skirts cut in Tokyo train stations. Police are questioning Misaki about his involvement in those cases.
Misaki has appeared in films such as “Kamen Rider” and “Super Sentai.”
