At least, he cannot ram or casue damages/harm using his "new Ship"

The ultimate lunatic... "My new ship is this prison" - yeah... Let us see if he thinks the same way after 2-5 years of marching in a Japanese prison. Ichi-ni, Ichi-ni, my boy!

He and his crew were the only ones to do anything about Japan hunting whales in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. It's one thing to do whaling in your own country's coastal waters and EEZ, quite another to use the scientific research trope to hunt there.

At least he's not into "killing".

Nothing could be further away from the truth. Other organizations were protesting JGov's decision to support this activity. But the SeaShepperds were the only organization relenting to what accounts to acts of international terrorism and piracy, endangerment of human life at high seas. For that there's no alternative to good old prison time.

"If we manage to reach children I think things can change."

Tell children not to do what Watson has done. Otherwise you’ll end up in prison.

Is he against the hunt of just whales or also dolphins too?

The Taiji dolphin drive hunt season just start in Japan too, sadly.

South Park was too right about this guy

7 ( +12 / -5 )

A terrorist claiming he didn’t hurt anyone lol! Don’t do the crime if you don’t wanna do time

2 ( +15 / -13 )

Set him free, all innocent till proven guilty, OR is it???

-1 ( +11 / -12 )

But he never comments on China's extinction of the Yangtze River dolphins, and shows no interest in other animals and plants whose populations are even more dwindling.

He's simply a coward who continues to commit terrorist acts only against Japan, which has not fought back.

This guy is old enough that he should have a proper job and be a respectable member of society, not someone running around harassing others.

3 ( +13 / -10 )

He injured a man and damaged a ship. He doesn't seem to mind if Iceland and Norway go after whales (Norway takes more whales than Iceland or Japan). His only friends are other terrorists.

I'm sure he has quite strong opinions on that and the decline of other marine animals.

If China doesn't care about its own endemic species then there isn't much he can do in a police state.

He's simply a coward who continues to commit terrorist acts only against Japan, which has not fought back.

Lol, Japan are seeking to extradite him from Greenland. What are non-cowards like you doing about the dire situation in our oceans?

1 ( +6 / -5 )

Any country which receives an extradition request from Japan should throw it straight into the waste paper basket, until Japan cleans up it's appalling legal and judicial system.

I am pretty sure that, for Watson, no press is bad press. I will say this for the man, he’s doing what he wants to do in life. This is more than most of us can say.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Can't wait for his arrival in Japan.

Who cares about rabid old scurvy dog watson

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

You people posting negatively about Watson ,are really pathetic losers who have your noses so far up the J derriere you can't see daylight .

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

"They can't extradite me because first they are vocal proponents of human rights," he added, qualifying the Japanese judicial system as "medieval".

Absolutely no argument there.

Well said Alan!

What great father this selfish idiot is. First he waits until the age 66 to father children then decides to keep up his activism spending little time with children. The mother must also live in la la land to allow their children to have a fatherless up bring. Now he is sitting gaol watching whales and icebergs and worrying about is ship being impounded. Then start to complaining that he misses HIS children. It not his children but THEIR children. If anything he should say her children because there a very good chance he will die in a Japanese gaol seeing very little of their children. He deserves all that coming to him for being such a bad father.

Some of you may find this video informative and helpful. It details exactly why Japan wanted him arrested.

He insists that he and his co-activists are "not a protest organization".

"We're an enforcement organization" ensuring that the seas are protected, he said, rejecting the label of ecoterrorist sometimes used against him.

Insane words from a vigilante.
