Much of DeSoto’s defense has focused on describing a downward spiral for DeSoto after his paternal grandfather died and his girlfriend moved away after graduating high school.

Boo-hoo-hoo.

I hope they give him the chair.

Experts and DeSoto’s girlfriend have testified that he was not functioning normally.

but did he know right from wrong? that is the question. killing people is wrong and even most crazy people know that.

Assaulted in prison, good this is called justice, prison is a place where people get assaulted think about that before committing your crimes. This flea then goes and reports it to authorities instead of dealing with it in the prison culture of way of not being a rat. Not only is this POS an unstable self centered nut job he is also a rat.

I hope he gets more bashing while in prison, he showed no sympathy to his victims so deserve to be shown none now the shoe is on the other foot.

Not going to lose any sleep over this. He deserves a lot worse than a beating for what he did.

For those of you applauding prison rape, you want to bring back rape in war as well? Just for enemy combatants? Remember women can be combatants too, now. Let's see how flimsy your morals are.

Kills three people but starts crying in jail when another guy touches him. Excuse me if I don't feel any sympathy at all for this low-life.

If he gets anything less than the maximum penalty, I think Japanese people need to boycott Guam.

It's not my fault if there are ALWAYS either "misprints" and/or mistakes in these articles ! This time I was wrong ! I admitted it ! However, how many times have I been right but my post was simply deleted, the text having been "repaired" ?

I think most Japanese people feel he should be executed.

I think most Japanese people feel he should be executed.

That's what my wife had suggested. I was taken aback a little.

Guam is most likely following US law, so, no premeditation, no death penalty.

That's what my wife had suggested. I was taken aback a little.

The vast majority of Japanese people are in favor of the death penalty and they believe that in particularly despicable cases (particularly, child, serial or multiple murders and unrepentant perpetrators) it is a natural process.
