By the way folks, there's a 10 million yen reward for the capture of this guy. i'm not sure of how it works in Japan but under common law, in order to collect a reward you have to a) be aware of the reward offer at the time you gave the info and b) claim it if the info leads to an arrest. In other words say " I'm doing this to help society AND FOR THE REWARD". So keep your eye open.

Best days to avoid the cameras is on rainy days as long as you do not use a transparent plastic umbrella. But when the weather is fine, you might have to travel during daytime with sunglasses and a baseball hat. You don't need disguises in Japan. A lot of people wear masks (for allergies and colds) all year round without raising any suspicion. As long as he has the cash for living expenses, he can hide in plain site with just a mask and a hat for many years to come. What are the Jcops going to do?...ask every single person wearing a mask or hat to take it off?...They only do that to dark skinned gaijins, not Japanese people.
