The body of a headless cat was found on Tuesday morning at a high school in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
According to police, the cat's remains were found around 7:35 a.m. by school staff on the path from the main gate to the school building. Police believe the cat was killed and its head chopped off somewhere else because very little blood was found.

A future serial killer gets his start.

Sick bastrad. Sounds like that 14-year old kid in Kobe a while back.

Here we go again. The Kobe kid murderer started out killing and decapitating cats, too.
When that same 14 year old kid stuck the other little boy's head to the gate of the school, everyone was shocked that some adult in Japanese society could actually do such a thing.
Imagine, in Japan! Some Japanese co-workers of mine at the time hinted that they thought a foreigner must have done it. One even went so far as to say, "Japan's slowly becoming like America." I had to educate him a little.
Of course, it later turned out to be a young teenager. To me, this was the beginning of the proliferation of Japan's grotesque murders.

Oh no! Here we go again.... Sounds like some student wants to get in some practice before they really start chopping human beings head off. Sad

I was walking along busy 246 near Sangenjyaya last night when someone tossed a live kitten in a plastic shopping bag out the window of their car. Unfortunately by the time I realized what had happened, the car was out of sight, and their was no stopping the flow of traffic. It is a shame how some people treat animals and I found this to be quite disturbing.

interesting news... umm.. wait, let me think..
Pilak
Does this type of news really need to be publicized?
saintseiya
In japan maybe yes,as next they will find a beheaded child some where . . .
Pilak
Saintseiya:In japan maybe yes,as next they will find a beheaded child some where . . .
-> I think this should not be publicized, since many more brats here in Japan will adapt or be a copy cat by this kind of attitude because they will know that they are given attention by doing this... And soon giving attention and publicizing this article will encourge more brats to do the same thing... As other say do not put to much detail on small object since it will only attract more.
I think, people should be much more alarmed and be adviced by this news if this is a human being already and not by this one.
saintseiya
Pilak agree fully with your reasoning.
I just tend to comment more radically on theses events, as in my country, thoses issues are adressed and mostly society is blamed for thoses things to happen. Thats when peoples start to think and start to discuss theses issues, that any change can be triggered after.
Of course in japan, there is no open discussion that would deply involve critics about the way j-people live.
And I also think more they show this stuff on j-TV, more j-peeps will turn away of adressing the issue, as it looks TV and BigBros have the entire situation under control and I not need to use more braincells on the issue.

yo Pilak - this IS HOW SERIAL KILLERS GET STARTED. it should ring bells and quite loudly. the police should be investigating this crime before this person escalates.

This is Barbaric like in the WWI and WWII!

As others have remarked, here we go again. Deranged killers always start like that.
usaexpat
killers usually start with animals as others have said. Let's hope they find the cat killer before he moves on to people
Youdontknow
JT...more info needed please! Yamaguchi is a large prefecture, you can't just go saying 'In Yamaguchi prefecture' without telling us the town.

Whatever happened to public floggings? I'll start a motion to bring them back for people who do sick stuff like this.

Cruelty towards animals is a hallmark of anti-social trait.
bushlover
Maybe they should feed people like this to lions. that'll teach em.
tomico
I hope they find the person responsible and claw his eyes out.
Isn't the cat supposed to be sacred? (Like the Maneki Neko, speaking metaphorically).
