Bogus deliveryman sexually assaults woman, steals her underwear

Police in Yatomi, Aichi Prefecture, have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 24-year-old woman and stealing her underwear.

According to police, Yuta Asakura, a fireman, wore the uniform of a delivery man when he buzzed the apartment of the woman at around 2:10 p.m. on May 5, Tokai TV reported. When the woman opened the door, he forced his way in and threatened her with a cutter knife, saying he would kill her if she screamed, police said.

Police said the woman told them that after she was sexually assaulted, Asakura stole her panties and then left. He was identified after an analysis of surveillance camera footage outside the apartment building.

Again?

I don't know why these types can't just ask a girl

out.

Poor woman. Hope she has adequate support for her physical, mental and emotional recovery. She’ll be forever terrorized every time there’s a knock at the door or the bell rings.

There needs to be stiffer penalty for this rapist (and perhaps amended laws) for using a ruse and uniform/id to gain access to someone’s home.

Wearing a false uniform is a form of domestic terrorism as it destroys public trust in necessary commercial and public services.

I’m sure you mean we’ll but this is illogical.

Where is the charge of attempted murder?

Not one of Japan’s everyday panty thieves. This beast’s a full on rapist and needs to be locked up for a long time. His fetishism escalated to an urge to harm.

Wearing a false uniform is a form of terrorism

a bit hyperbolic perhaps but can follow the intent of the comment. His actions and position does diminish trust of uniform services personnel.

Right, so it wasn't from his mobile phone signal then.

Staged and real rapes like the one described above are videotaped and uploaded to porn sites, where they then influence and incite impressionable young men who then develop into sick men.

If you still don't want to call porn out then you really don't care about what happened to this lady.

“First responders” like firefighters used to be highly respected for their chosen vocation.  Seems public trust of uniformed public servants in Japan will continue to diminish as there have been other recent stories of police and firemen committing crimes while on duty and/or returning later to follow through with a theft of valuables during “inspections”:

Regarding Japan’s obsessive panty fetish topic, there was a similar fireman panty thief/stalker in the news here recently. The victim was girlfriend of a friend and he targeted her specifically:

That could fall under the category of 'impersonating a (insert service occupation word here)'.

The underwear thing is kinky weirdness, but this one is a rapist who threatened with a box cutter. Not in the same category.

This jerk is not an 'Arnold Layne'. He's a violent rapist, HUGE difference.

Shameful that the criminal was a firefighter, crimes like these taint the name of a job that is very difficult and dangerous. As mentioned before respect for their often heroic deeds suffers every time an article like this appears.

The main victim is of course the assaulted woman, but he also disgraces his fellow firefighters.

What a STUPID thing to do, and is this the first time that's he's done such a thing ????

So no Photo? What happened to the "Anshin Anzen" ?

Wheres the violent criminal rapist alert posters?

I don't know why these types can't just ask a girl out.

They probably try that and the women - rightly - run a mile. Most women can spot sociopath creeps.

Give the human trash 20 plus years for this despicable rape using extreme violence. Hope he expires in there.

I hope the poor young woman gets the help she no doubt will need.

After creepy high school stuff, this is a pretty common storyline to a particular type of video. Not surprised some idiot decided to love out his sick fantasy. Lock him up as an example.

saying he would kill her if she screamed, police said.

This creep needs to locked up, not only for the assault, but attempted murder, or GBH ( or equivalent in Japan)

the poor woman must have been terified.

Yes Jan, thats how they report it in the "News" now, in Japan

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

By not calling rape what it is, they minimize the trauma the victim went through.

Just by the way they reported here in JT they make the rape seem like something less than it was.

This is pretty typical of how guys control the narrative here in Japan. Women don't have much of a say in what happens and how things are reported even when they are raped.

Emergency Call 119!!

Maybe not! Who exactly are you going to send?

That's really weird.

How about they video his sentencing and incarceration and put that on the web?

@WA4TKG: I don't know why these types can't just ask a girl out.

Yeah, that baffles me too. ‘I’m into raping women at knifepoint and stealing their knickers’ is a great chat up line/dating profile.

If you still don't want to call porn out then you really don't care about what happened to this lady.

Same could be said for violent movies, shows, and games, etc. which are much more widespread. Surely turning someone into a murderer is even worse, but you seem to have something against porn..

Inspired by manga story?

Being objective and mentioning facts is not often welcome in comments. My bad ?

What good what that do? most of the world doesn't speak or understand Japanese.
