Bus driver arrested for attempting to kiss female passenger

Police have arrested a 54-year-old bus driver in Anan, Tokushima Prefecture, after he attempted to kiss a female passenger on her forehead against her will.

According to police, the incident occurred in March when Kunihiko Nakanishi stopped the bus he was driving mid-route, and attempted to kiss the forehead of a female passenger in her teens, NTV reported Wednesday.

Police were notified of the incident by the girl's parents and Nakanishi was arrested on Sept 22.

At the time of the incident, there were no other passengers aboard the bus, and according to police, both the suspect and the victim did not know each other at all.

Nakanishi has denied the charge, saying that police are mistaken about the facts surrounding the incident.

Probably took them that long to file the paperwork.

The Japanese police must give the prosecutors an airtight case to to insure conviction. Failure to do so would be anathema.

Oh, he wanted her to kiss him on his head?

Or, this girl and her family were trying to get money out of a driver who was alone on the bus with her. She says, he says.

The driver's name was revealed though he's a suspect in a case of He said, She said? The rights of the suspect are not being protected very well here...

Is this a shake-down? She claims he kissed her on the forehead (while driving, I presume), and he said he didnt´t.... and the auhorities take her word for it? Scary.

He's just giving the girl her change back.

Or was that the train driver.........?

We don't know enough to comment. Most buses around here have video and audio recording while the bus is operating. If that bus did, then there would be more than a "he said, she said" aspect to this arrest. Again, WE DON'T KNOW.

Ah, now I understand why Abe stated it would take until 2034 to get equal rights for women. They have to wait until all these sexist pigs are dead and the next generation of fe-males grow up.
