Wow - I remember this case and then it kind of faded into obscurity. It is nice to see the French trying to get justice for this young lady. Sounds like there is quite a bit of circumstantial evidence against this guy. I do not go to the market frequently and buy 5 liters of flammable liquid and matches simultaneously (actually I do not think I have ever done this).

It is encouraging Chile is allowing the French to pose questions and it will be interesting to see how this plays out. If the kid is guilty I hope justice is served.

Damn, he totally did it though. I'm not Sherlock, but I'd say he most likely burned her body to crisp and buried her somewhere very hard to find.
