A man who robbed a convenience store in Sapporo early Sunday is believed to be the same man who robbed the store on June 25, police said.
In Sunday's incident, the man told the two employees on duty in a 7-Eleven store in Kita Ward, "I'm back," as he threatened them with a metal rod, NTV reported.
Police said he came into the store at around 3:20 a.m. and demanded money. He fled with around 30,000 yen, police said, adding no one was hurt.
Surveillance camera footage and a description by store staff indicate the man to be the same in both robberies.© Japan Today
