Convenience store robbed twice in 4 days by same man

A man who robbed a convenience store in Sapporo early Sunday is believed to be the same man who robbed the store on June 25, police said.

In Sunday's incident, the man told the two employees on duty in a 7-Eleven store in Kita Ward, "I'm back," as he threatened them with a metal rod, NTV reported.

Police said he came into the store at around 3:20 a.m. and demanded money. He fled with around 30,000 yen, police said, adding no one was hurt.

Surveillance camera footage and a description by store staff indicate the man to be the same in both robberies.

Something Oscar Wilde might have said - "To be robbed one time may be regarded as a misfortune; to be robbed twice by the same person looks like carelessness"

how much did he 'collect' first time? based on that Police may calculate his next appearance.

His professional name is Denkou so he thought they wouldn't catch him (as lightning doesn't strike twice).

This is a funny country with funny people. Funny! On the other hand, serious too. Threatening anyone with a blunt object is also very dangerous. Lock him up and make him the prison comedian!

I wonder when and if the police can catch him...
