Police in Nishi-Tokyo said Sunday they are looking for male cyclist who got into an argument with a woman after running into her and then struck her with a blunt object.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 4 a.m. Saturday. Fuji TV reported that the 35-year-old woman was walking home when a man riding a bicycle came up behind her so close that her clothes got caught up in the bike, forcing the man off his bike.
The woman told police the man, who appeared to be in his 60s, shouted at her and struck her on the head with a blunt object before riding away.
Police said the woman suffered head injuries that will take about two weeks to heal.© Japan Today
