Police said Monday they have arrested a 30-year-old emergency services rescue worker for allegedly exposing himself in the subway in Tokyo.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Yasunao Miyabe, undid his pants and exposed himself to a woman in her 20s on the Oedo subway line between Yoyogi and Nakai stations at around 3 p.m. on Nov 23, TBS reported. Police said the woman told him to stop it. At Nakai station, the woman dragged Miyabe out of the carriage and asked station staff to help.
Police said Miyabe has denied exposing himself.
On the day in question, he went off duty at 12 noon. A spokesman for the Tokyo Fire Department apologized for the incident and said the department takes the incident seriously.© Japan Today
