Can’t Sportivo Luqueno find a player who is not an irresponsible alcoholic?

He was talented as a young player. But injuries and maybe the lifestyle (I think he likes the nigthlife and drinking) did not help.

Hit and run. In Japan, he would not have been released on bail so quickly. Lucky for him for the time being

'Hit and run. In Japan, he would not have been released on bail so quickly. Lucky for him for the time being.'

But if he were in Japan and being rich and famous a suspended sentence would be a given.

Too bad it didn't take place inside Japan. He'd see no jail time regardless of alcohol, drugs, or not remembering anything.

If Sportivo Luqueno had certain clauses in his contract concerning being a good citizen you could believe they will have him for cheap now.

He should be jailed....

Agreed @Smitphire 8:57p JST  “Ex-Japan soccer player Morimoto arrested over hit-and-run in Paraguay

Just when it was getting interesting. Uruguay even gave a ‘spot on’ the g_i_t.

Asuncion, a laid back city in a very laid back country.

Asuncion, with nothing to see and nothing to do. A truly a backwater South American country.

I have been there just to see for the above reasons. You can see everything in Asuncion in less than a day.

The most beer being drunk in a country is Paraguay.

When I would be having lunch with bottled water, I was surrounded by the locals drinking 1.5 liters of beer bottles.

There is very little traffic in downtown Asuncion, the poor area. Maybe he was in the rich area with more cars, bars, restaurants and malls for the rich.

What will happen if he jumps Bail and somehow ends up in japan, will Japan hand him back over to the Paraguay prosecutors?
