In such cases some people opt to bury the remains in their yard and perhaps place a commemorative plant, stone or garden sculpture over it. However, someone living in an apartment complex will not have that option. A slightly darker observation: The municipal manual does not offer suggestions for disposal of this kind. Hospitals and clinics don't offer a service for this unfortunate circumstance either. Cremation is an option; however, it's expensive. I know a couple who kept the remains of a much wanted pregnancy in their freezer for many years as they had no way to deal with the physical aspect of their loss. Compassion and blessings to the parents and the unborn child.

Rare that I agree with you, Sir, but here you speak wisdom. One item left out, though, is that the most rabidly anti-birth control proponents ('proLife!') seem to be the most rabidly proWar (proDeath!) folks also. I guess while it's not okay to stop a pregnancy, it's okay to mass murder the result of that pregnancy when it reaches 18 years old (17 with parental permission). Do 'unwanted' babies make better soldiers? Perhaps they do...

Sadly the baby is only considered a human being based on the emotionally charged determination of a desperate mother. If they deem it so the child’s life is less important than that of an animal. The biological facts, empathy and humanity are not part of the equation.
