Police from a special investigation team formed by the Osaka Prefectural Police’s Community Safety Division have arrested a former bar host on suspicion of violating the Anti-Prostitution Law after he used his girlfriend to offer sexual services to men for money.
According to police, Takuya Domeki, 25, who is unemployed and a resident of Izumi City, was formerly employed as a bar host at Osaka’s Minami Host Club, local media reported. Domeki is accused of pimping out his girlfriend, who is in her 20s, last December in order to pay off both her host club debts and his debts.
Police said the woman told them Domeki pressured her into it by saying he might be killed if he couldn’t get enough money to pay his debts. The girlfriend subsequently engaged in sex for money with several men, arranged for her by Domeki.
In addition, Domeki imposed a quota on the woman to earn a minimum of 100,000 yen per day. Domeki took about 5 million yen and spent the money on his own living expenses and gambling.© Japan Today
